Exploring HRMS features in detail

HRMS TEAM

HRMS helps managers with employee management and processes, which makes it easy to manage the employees in their company. Managers can easily keep track of their staff, who is working where and when, what projects they are working on and so on. This helps them to understand their workforce better and take appropriate action at the right time.

Time Management

Time and attendance management is the process of managing, recording and controlling time spent in a project or job. It is used to ensure that employees are paid correctly and that they are not over- or under-working.

Biometric Time and attendance systems can be used to track the hours worked by each employee, allowing managers to see which employees are working overtime and which ones are spending too much time on breaks. This helps them make decisions about staff scheduling, workloads and staffing levels.

Time tracking also lets you monitor employee productivity levels over time so you can identify areas for improvement. For example, if one person consistently works more than eight hours a day on weekends while others don’t, this could indicate that they need additional training on how to manage their time effectively. While many companies use paper time sheets or manual sign-in sheets, cloud-based HR software provides many benefits over these older methods:

Online HRMS allow employees to log their hours from any computer or mobile device with Internet access — whether they’re at home or on the go (and no more forgetting to fill out your timesheet!). This makes it easy for them get their work done without having to worry about how they’ll submit their data once they’ve completed a task.

Time Tracking

The first step to using a time and attendance program is to set up an employee roster. This can be done manually by the manager or automatically by the time and attendance software. The software will automatically pull in employee information from an HR database, including employee name, date of birth, location and other information.

Once you have created a list of employees, you can begin adding them to your schedule. You can do this by shift, day or week. Once you have created your schedule, you can use it to create a shift report for any given day or week. This report will show who worked when and for how long they worked. If an employee did not show up for work or if they left early without permission, this report can help identify those employees by their name and location.

Another useful feature of most time tracking software is the ability to keep track of vacation days used by each employee. This means that when someone calls out sick on vacation day (or even worse, before), you’ll know exactly how many vacation days remain for that person so that you don’t end up with someone calling out sick on their last day off before vacation begins!

Benefits administration

Benefits administration is the process of managing, delivering and administering employee benefits. Benefits administration includes the Retirement plans such as 401(k) or 403(b) plans (for example, these include defined contribution plan, defined benefit plan and cash balance plan). This can also include other retirement programs such as pension plans. Paid time off also falls under this umbrella for many employers, who provide paid vacation days and sick days to employees.

Employee assistance programs often fall under benefits administration as well with regards to substance abuse counseling or psychiatric services provided by an EAP provider on behalf of the employer. Health care is another aspect of benefits administration where most companies offer some sort of medical coverage for their employees with varying options based on needs such as single coverage vs family coverage; how much coverage an employee gets per month through an HMO/PPO provider; deductibles they must meet before they can seek out medical treatment from providers outside their network.

Dental insurance may also be included in health care plans offered by employers today depending upon whether it’s part of your state’s Medicaid program or if it has been negotiated into union contracts at some point over time past when certain conditions were met (such as 5 years without filing bankruptcy.

Likewise vision care would fall under this category too since there are many companies out there who offer both dental & vision coverage either within one large package deal like Blue Cross Blue Shield does now so that one pays $100 per month regardless what type service one needs; separate packages which allow individuals to select different options based on their age group (50-54 year olds pay more than 55 year olds); gender orientation/preference; marital status.

Leave Management

Leave management is a key function for HR professionals. Not only does it help managers to plan for leave, but it also helps them manage the workloads of their employees. Leave management software helps HR professionals to automate the leave process and eliminate manual errors. It also allows employees to apply for leave online and reduces the amount of time spent on the phone or in meetings with managers. The benefits of using HRMS include:

  • time savings
  • increased efficiency
  • better decision-making
